Firstly, silica, bauxite and coke are mixed evenly and added into the furnace to smelt to produce silicon aluminum alloy.The CaO and coke are then added in batches to promote the formation of calcium silicate aluminium.In addition, barium ore and coke were added in batches to form barium silicon aluminum alloy.The general composition of barium silicate aluminum alloy is :Si>30%, Ca>6%, Ba>9%.Al>8%.
The ratio of Al2O3/SiO2, CaO/BaO and (CaO x BaO)/ SiO2 should be controlled in production, and the addition of coke should be controlled.
The equipment parameters should be higher current and lower working voltage, with higher center power and higher furnace power.Keep the reaction area in the furnace at a high temperature.From beginning to end, the stewing method should be adopted, and the slag accumulation should be treated by CaO and BaO to remove the slag from the furnace.
For example, when the large electric furnace produces barium silicon, the method of hot-extruded aluminum ingots can be used to produce barium silicon aluminum alloy.But this method has no economic effect on the production of calcium silicon-barium aluminum alloy.
