Ferrovanadium: ferrovanadium and titanium intermediate alloy (ferrovanadium binary alloy) obtained by reduction, whose vanadium content is not less than 35.0%(weight) and not more than 85.0%(weight).In the periodic table, vanadium is a member of the vanadium family, with 23 atoms, 50.942 atomic weight, 1887 degree melting point and 3337 degree boiling point.About 80 percent of vanadium is used with iron as an alloy element in steel.Vanadium - containing steel is hard and solid, but typically contains less than 1 percent.
Vanadium iron is mainly used as an alloy additive for steelmaking. After adding vanadium iron into steel, the hardness, strength, abrasion resistance and ductility of steel can be significantly improved, and the cutting performance of steel can be improved.Vanadium iron is often used in the production of carbon steel, low alloy steel strength steel, high alloy steel, tool steel and cast iron.
1. Ferro-vanadium is supplied in bulk or powder.
2. The maximum mass of vanadium iron shall not exceed 8kg, and the number of pieces less than 20x20mm shall not exceed 5% of the total weight.
3. Powdered vanadium iron is supplied at an order of -0.45mm, of which -0.098mm shall not exceed 30% of the total weight.
4. There is no visible inclusions on the surface and cross section of iron and in vanadium powder.
